Having been through two Scout boats, my testimonial is about the quality of construction and the excellent overall layout of the boat. We currently have the 220 Bay Scout and with five children I am pleasantly amazed that we can all fit comfortably on the boat and have room to stow away gear for a weekend on the water. My wife and I regularly fish and scallop the shallow waters of St. Joe Bay in Northwest Florida and it is not uncommon for us to be in 18 – 24 inches of water all day long. With the trim tabs down it seems I only need a few yards to get up on plane and get across some fairly skinny flats. With this I am tremendously pleased !! The quality of construction is such that I have not had any work done on the boat or motor other than normal maintenance. I believe that writing a testimonial after having a boat for a couple of months is one thing….but to write one after 4 years… I think shows the satisfaction I have with Scout Boats. Over the years I have not hesitated in recommending Scout as my brand of choice and it is still a pleasure today when someone goes by and says ” nice boat! ” A sincere word of THANKS to ALL of your employees and the quality work they do.
