Dear Scout,

I would like to take the time to tell you just how much I love my new Scout Boat. I have been boating for over a decade now and have had the opportunity to operate many boats ranging in size from a 12-foot flat bottom boat to a 65-foot party fishing boat. Most of my time has been spent on Lake Champlain and the Connecticut River. The Lake as you well know is very unpredictable and has a tendency to go from calm water to waves up to 6 feet high. When I took my Scout (185 SportFish) out on the Lake I was comfortable and confidant that I did not have to worry about anything that Champlain could give me. The boat handled the 2.5 feet waves almost as if they were not there and neither my father or I got a drop of water on us…well, we did get some from the fish. The ride was smooth and the with the 115 Yamaha 4 stroke on the back it was quiet and comfortable. To those who are thinking about getting a boat, I strongly suggest the Scout line of boats – you will not be disappointed.
