Dear Scout,

I am from Louisiana and love to fish the brackish waters of the marsh. I purchased my Scout 172 Sportfish new back in 1996. It is a 1997 model with a Yamaha 115 2-stroke that came factory rigged. It is by far the best boat that I have ever owned. It handles the chop well and gets in the skinny water as well. After 11 years it is holding up suprisingly well and I often get compliments on it. In the future I hope to purchase a new larger Scout.You guys make a great product.
